(GE-LSTG-EH) Turbine Steam Seal System
Course Overview
This Learning-Doc
emphasizes the steam seal system control devices found on the EHC type
controlled steam turbines (whether the EHC has been upgraded or not). In
each system the descriptions will include HP and LP packing assemblies,
operation of the steam seal header during startup and at high loads, the steam
packing exhauster, and auxiliary systems. For each typical alarm,
discussions will include the alarm implications, probable causes, and actions
to be taken.
